I might be missing something, or it’s super-secret, but there is no video…
@EvilBernd
Sorry my Internet connection went out at like 4am. It is going up now (hopefully).
Yeah, it’s up and running now or at least “playing”.
@EvilBernd
What does the link on GerMagic.de mean?

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and sorry again about the video not being coordinated properly with the blog update. I think this is a good one though!
Ok, just viewed it and I asked myself, what about Ingot Chewer?
Is this an option in the deck as a possible sideboard-card or even instead of the single Shattering Spree maindeck? Although I don’t know if it’s a good idea to trade Replicate for a 3/3-body.
The MTG Buzz is a sized down option to view links from MTG Pop (online rss-feed reader for MTG-feeds, like yours and a couple of others more) on the GerMagic main-page.
As for the video, I liked it. I kind of didn’t like showing the art for cards like “Weakness” just because they fit, but that’s a matter of taste. And the banner on the bottom was there all the time and prevented seeing your hand in the MTGO-part. I can not comment on the Extended-tech you talked of 😉
Liked the video. All-in red is awesome.
I seem to remember you saying a couple of posts ago that Empty the Warrens is the “best threat.” What do you think of Richard Feldman’s contention that Arc-Slogger is better?
This is the part I meant:
Oh this…
I announced, that MTG Pop got new feeds: blackborder.com and yours and I suspected, that this is a fake blog, because you are already blogging (that’s what I supposed) at top8magic.com. I also would have never guessed, that you have a strong affection for Transformers which leads to the rather “childish” background. If that is Transformers.
@EvilBernd
I have a four year old daughter who likes exactly the same things I like / liked when I was a kid. So I have an excuse to watch Transformers: The Movie regularly, and tape The Brave and the Bold, Clone Wars, an Ben 10 every week. We play Lego Batman together several times a week.
So long story short, I blog here AND Top8Magic.com 🙂
Okay, I am convinced 🙂
What about the Ingot Chewer?
RE: Ingot Chewer
I think I would rather have Shattering Spree (though I would not play it main deck… For these videos I used Petras Ratkevicius’s deck); the reason is that it is just so devastating against Affinity and against other decks where you want artifact destruction (some of which are Blue) you can Replicate to get around permission. I don’t think the 3/3 body is that sexy.
I think the list you used is one of the weaker AIR lists that is floating around right now…
@kingpete
I don’t disagree – However for overview stuff and these kinds of projects I always use known quantities / established high placing deck lists for illustration purposes rather than my own preferred deck lists (this video will supplement an upcoming Top Decks).
Thanks for the comment and welcome to our site and discussions!
Thanks Mike, ive been reading and watching for a long time, but just now started commenting. Keep up the good work! I love the videos.
That was an excellent video, but could you fade out the lettering on the bottom after a while? Y’know, it would be nice to see your opening hand 😉
i must say that both deck and the whole video showcase is very much to my liking 🙂
please bear with me, im quite new to this level of Magic, but have played it on a small scale among friends so im rather unsure of the exact meaning of some of your refrences (named decks, AIR lists and the like)
But as i looked through the All-In, I must admit it caught my imagination, although i would probably have made more use of the accelerated round one and two with other Storm spell as well (Rite of Flame, Desperate Ritual followed by Storm Entity and Grapeshot or perhaps Haze of Rage) to create a possible large impact opening hand with a respecteble creature to follow the turn after, and with the added bonus of giving me the possibility to deal with and any potential blockers (Grapeshot again).
Having a rather small income (soldiers arent that wellpaid) i would propperly end up with something like this
16 Mountains
4 Chrome Mox
4 Demigod of Revenge
4 Balefire Liege (for added dammage in later rounds)
4 Simian Spirit Guid
4 Storm Entity
4 Rite of Flame
4 Desperate Ritual
4 Seething Song
4 Grapeshot
4 Haze of Rage
4 Empty the Warrens
sidedeck would consist of
Shattering Spree (due to the recent increase in Artifact Creatures)
Manamorphose (as it has both card draw and a chance of surviving on Chrome Mox and a Mountain)
and some other (still to be chosen) cards.
if possible could you please give me any feedback on this ?
Regards
Oliver
