After playing a few matches vs Martyr decks and a few vs Sully special, I'm not super excited about this one. I realize it's just totally luck of the draw, but this deck really isn't exciting. It's probably great vs Zoo and Scapeshift though. (How do you beat Thoper combo?)

...Well, that explains why you were talking about Think Twice in the podcast (I was more than a little confused by that one).

Do people just not remember Wrath is a card? Even after WotC printed another one of it to facilitate Gifts Ungiven piles (and other reasons, but come on...that seems to be the main one)?

I would agree that Thopter-Sword would be nice to fit in somehow, but only being a control deck as opposed to control/combo could have some value.

Whatever, I'm not qualified to pass judgment on boring UW control; I'm gaming with Domain Zoo.

I have to say, it seems just a tad boring. Are the Finks and Baneslayers enough to "get there?" I suppose the tool you use to win is hardly the point, though. It's just that, in the past, I've always thought of Extended as the format of "exciting" decks, and so far, from what I've seen, it's been somewhat disappointing. I'll probably just continue to play some version of "the Lighting Bolt deck." Podcast was interesting to listen to, though. Good luck, Mike.
